A 1978 TV-movie based on the real-life case of Alice Crimmins. Doris Winters (Oscar-nominee Tuesday Weld) is a single mother whose children are killed under mysterious circumstances. Doris doesn't fit the image of the grieving mother– her clothes are too flashy, she's sexually promiscuous. Soon, Doris becomes a suspect in the murder of her own children by a police detective (Ron Leibman). Did she do it?
