"The 1960's was a crazy party, and it moved fast" –Donovan. This somewhat amateurish yet exceptionally interesting TV documentary hosted by John Ritter, Suzanne Somers, and Twiggy traces 1960's rock and roll music from Liverpool to Woodstock, and blends vintage 60's pop culture footage, 1970's reunion performances with interviews of artists reminiscing on the 60's. Twiggy visits Liverpool for a lengthy segment on Mersey Beat, then Carnaby Street for a look at 1960's fashion. The "60s party" went from good-time pop music and drugs to civil rights and Vietnam. Interviews for this special include: Brian Wilson, Gerry Marsden, Alan Price, Marianne Faithfull, Donovan, Micky Dolenz, Bobby Sherman, Sonny Bono, Malcolm McDowell, Mary Travers and many others.
